One reality star’s crisis could be another’s opportunity.
Kris Jenner is plotting a big comeback for The Kardashians as drama surroundingTaylor Frankie Paul continues to put rival Hulu series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in jeopardy, says a source.
Star previously revealed that the momager, 70, was shaken up by Paul’s show overtaking her family’s own series in the ratings race — but filming for season 5 of Mormon Wives has been on pause following a domestic dispute between its leading lady, 31, and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in February.
“Though producers would like to keep that show going, it’s hard to imagine them finding another personality who could generate drama and momentum the way Taylor did,” shares the source. “Of course this is music to Kris’ ears, because she was taken aback when Mormon Wives became a ratings phenomenon over the last 12 months. She sees it as car-crash TV.”

In comparison, Kris believes The Kardashians offers “more wholesome escapism,” adds the source.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired on E! for 20 seasons before moving to Hulu and getting a name change in 2022.
The show is now in its 10th season on the streaming service.
“Audience numbers are important to Kris, but showing her family as being tight-knit, loving and highly supportive of each other is the reason she keeps making this series,” the source insists. “She is very motivated to keep things going and to stay on top of the reality TV mountain for years to come!”
