Mila Kunis was on The Tonight Show last night, July 31, and she told Jimmy Fallon about her honeymoon from hell! She and husband Ashton Kutcher drove across the country in an RV with their then ten-month-old daughter Wyatt and his parents. Things only got zanier from there.
Watch the clip above for a bit of Mila’s long story. The 34-year-old said, “If you’ve ever seen the National Lampoon movies, our honeymoon was a real life National Lampoon’s Honeymoon.
The Spy Who Dumped Me actress bought Ashton, 40, an RV for his birthday. She called it a “tin can on wheels.”
“I made a boo boo,” she joked, because when the No Strings Attached actor saw it, he decided a trip with it should be their honeymoon.
Soon after they went out, their air conditioner broke in 110 degree weather. But that wasn’t the worst of it.
“We almost died on the side of the road when Apple Maps took us on a road, it wasn’t a road,” she said. “It was a fire road on the side of a mountain. We all had to get out and walk.” She carried Wyatt, now 4, while Ashton helped his dad navigate the RV over massive boulders.
Things still got worse. Ashton’s mom had picked the RV parks they’d be staying at using outdated books. When she promised they’d end the trip in Napa, they really finished it at, “an RV park outside Napa with two prisons.” Jimmy cracked up over the story, as did the audience.
Mila and Ashton married in 2015. They also have a son, two-year-old Dimitri.
