She’s currently doing press for her new movie A Most Wanted Man, but it seems Rachel McAdams still can’t escape her claim to fame, The Notebook! During an interview on Today ten years after the film’s release date, the actress watched her audition tape from the movie for the first time.
The clip of her reciting lines for director Nick Cassavetes and costar Ryan Gosling recently went viral, but the 35-year-old has been able to avoid it…until now. “I haven’t seen it!” she admitted. “So yeah, that would be weird.”
Luckily, Matt Lauer had the clip on cue, and played it for Rachel on the spot. While watching, she couldn’t help but cringe, even placing her head in her hands to avoid seeing herself on-screen at one point. Luckily, she took it all in good fun, and had a laugh about the video afterward.
