Travis Kelce Says He and Taylor Swift Are ‘Having Fun’ as a Couple, Not Looking for ‘Attention’

Travis Kelce loves doing life with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift — and swears they’re not chasing the spotlight.

On Tuesday, July 1, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, was a guest on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast — hosted by former NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan — where he discussed his very public relationship with the pop star, also 35.

“We’re having fun with it, man, being a couple. It gets thrown out there like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then,” he admitted. “We’re just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world.”

Kelce added that he had “fun” attending Game 4 of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Final with the 14-time Grammy Award winner last month. Fans posted photos and videos on social media of the couple displaying some PDA while watching the Florida Panthers take on the Edmonton Oilers at Amerant Bank Arena in Florida.

The three-time Super Bowl champion also admitted on the podcast episode that it has taken him some time to get used to the amount of cameras following him.

“It’s just the paparazzi, that’s probably the only thing I didn’t really grasp until you’re in it. That’s probably the craziest part,,” he shared. “Like, I’m just playing golf, and all of a sudden, in the trees, there’s a f**king guy with a camera. Like, oh s**t, I got to go to the restroom now. I can’t just go over here and take a piss.”

Kelce further joked that he doesn’t want his “meat on Page Six.”

The A-list couple has been out and about frequently in recent months. They were most recently photographed hand in hand on a date night in New York City on Saturday, June 28.

Before that, on Tuesday, June 24, Swift gave a surprise performance of her hit song “Shake it Off” during Kelce’s annual Tight Ends and Friends concert at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee.

They have also been spotted around Florida as Kelce prepares for the upcoming NFL season in training camp. They were photographed leaving a restaurant in Palm Beach in June and were spotted dining in West Palm Beach in May.

As Star previously reported in May, Kelce has been planning how he wants to ask for Swift’s hand in marriage. “He wants the proposal to be unforgettable, like something out of a movie,” a source explained. “He knows Taylor’s had some pretty romantic moments in her life, and he wants to top them.”
