Taylor Swift Reportedly Did Not Socialize With Princess Beatrice and Eugenie at Friend’s Birthday Party

Taylor Swift seemingly wasn’t shmoozing with Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie at Poppy Delevingne‘s 40th birthday bash in London, according to the Tuesday, May 12 edition of Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack.

The pop star, 36, attended the star-studded birthday party on Thursday, May 7, with her fiancé, Travis Kelce. Meanwhile, Beatrice, 37, went with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, while Eugenie, 36, brought her spouse, Jack Brooksbank.

“Of course Eugenie and Beatrice would have loved to meet Taylor,” one source said. “But Taylor was having absolutely no part of it.”

“Taylor is one of the smartest celebrities in the world when it comes to protecting her image,” a second source stated. “She didn’t want photographs, headlines, or even casual gossip linking her to royal controversy and Jeffrey Epstein.”

The two princesses’ father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, of course, has faced public criticism for his friendship with the late convicted sex offender, despite his denying any wrongdoing.

The ex-prince, 66, was arrested in February on “suspicion of misconduct in public office” amid allegations that he shared confidential information with Epstein as trade envoy. The former Duke of York was released and never charged with a crime.

“This wasn’t Taylor being rude,” the source added. “She was polite to everyone, but she knows exactly what stories she wants attached to her name — and this wasn’t one of them.”

But the 14-time Grammy Award winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, didn’t just stick to themselves all night, according to Shuter. A guest at the party told him they “stayed close to friends all night.”

“They were relaxed, affectionate, and very careful about who they interacted with,” the guest noted.

As Star previously reported, while Andrew was stripped of his royal titles by King Charles III in 2025 and forced to move out of the Royal Lodge, Eugenie and Beatrice remain in the royal fold.

Eugenie recently announced that she is expecting her third child, and the official royal family X account posted a statement revealing the sovereign, 77, “has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
