Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ‘Had Fun’ on ‘New Heights’ Podcast in ‘Brilliant’ Move to Promote TS12 (Exclusive)
Taylor Swift‘s appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and brother Jason Kelce‘s New Heights podcast was a strategic decision, a source tells Star.
“She wanted to get the word out that her new album is coming out soon, and Travis wanted to help her do that,” the source explains. “People are saying it was a brilliant marketing strategy, offering a glimpse of her personal life while talking about her music.”
However, while the source says the “purpose was to promote Taylor’s new album,” The Life of a Showgirl, they also note the couple “had fun doing it.”
“For Travis, it was symbolic having her on,” the source shares. “It was where he first talked about his interest in meeting Taylor.”
The source adds that the 14-time Grammy Award winner going on the podcast proves the Kansas City Chiefs tight-end, 35, is “genuinely proud to be Taylor’s number one.”

“He’s happy to share the spotlight with her, and she’s a supportive partner who’s interested in his career,” the insider remarks.
The NFL star first mentioned the singer-songwriter, 35, on the podcast in July 2023, revealing he was unsuccessful in giving her a friendship bracelet with his number on it after watching her perform in the Eras Tour.
“Your number, as in 87 [his jersey], or your phone number?” Jason, 37, asked his younger brother.
“You know which one,” Travis cheekily responded.
The “Cruel Summer” singer and the three-time Super Bowl champion began dating that summer and have been going strong since.
