Flora and Fern: Kindness Along The Way, which was scheduled to be released this month under Fergie’s former title (Duchess of York), is reportedly being canceled.
The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday, November 18, that the publication is being “pulped,” which means the unsold books will be destroyed and recycled. People also confirmed the news.
It was first believed that the book, originally intended to hit shelves October 9, was being delayed after being pushed to a November 20 release date. However, a source told the Mail, “It’s not been delayed, it’s being pulped. It’s an acknowledgement of the inevitable. No one is going to want to buy it.”
Book signings that were to feature Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s ex-wife, 66, were also canceled, but New Frontier Publishing nor the former duchess have addressed the news.
“It’s a mess. The book is unsalvageable,” someone from a local bookshop told the Mail.
Last month, King Charles III stripped Fergie and the former Prince Andrew, 65, of their royal titles and honors as more allegations involving Jeffrey Epsteincame to light.

While Andrew and Fergie have denied any wrongdoing, both have come under fire for their connection to the late pedophile.
Andrew relinquished his titles after the publication of sex-trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, in which she repeated her claim that Andrew had sex with her when she was a minor. (He has repeatedly denied those allegations.)
And, for her part, Fergie has addressed reports of an email she wrote calling Epstein a “supreme friend” in 2011.
A spokesperson said in a statement, in part: “The Duchess spoke of her regret about her association with Epstein many years ago, and as they have always been her first thoughts are with his victims. Like many people, she was taken in by his lies. As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia.”
