At least, that was reportedly the rationale that television producers of the new docuseries,
The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, used to justify
not portraying the victims — or including the families in the creative process.

But Tanya, 46, was angered by the move, telling
People, "They didn't take the families into consideration... Who is defending my sister?"

"You are going to have people basing their beliefs on a movie," he said. "Last time I checked, we don't rely on movies for facts."

"Losing Nicole was painful for me of course, but seeing my parents – and the kids – go through what they went through was horrendous," Tanya told People. "That was my pain, really."

Now, the family braces for the release of the docuseries and the horrific memories that it will bring back. "I don't wish what my family went through on my biggest enemy," she said.
