Jenny McCarthy Livid About HIV-Positive Charlie Sheen — Why It Would Have Been ‘Valuable Information’ To Her

After one of the biggest cover-ups in Hollywood history was revealed on Nov. 15 (that Sheen is battling the HIV virus), the 43-year-old actress certainly didn’t waist any time making sure the world heard her opinion on the subject.

Jenny worked with the 50-year-old on Two and a Half Men, playing one of his character’s somewhat more serious girlfriends.

On Nov. 18, the former Playboy model shared her opinion on the HIV scandal on her SiriusXM radio show, Dirty, Sexy, Funny.

“The thing that I think, also, [is that] in the acting world… before doing a job, we have to sign papers that say, ‘Do you have cold sores?’ and you have to sign a release that says, ‘Yes, I have cold sores,’ and you have to show the medication,” Jenny said.

She added, “[But] if I have to be so upfront about a herpe, how could you not be upfront about HIV? I look back and I think, ‘Okay, that could’ve been valuable information.’ Look at how many people have played his love interest on the show."

Jenny hasn’t been the only one that feels Charlie’s silence until now is a slap in the face. Sheen’s former girlfriend, Bree Olson, has also said that she felt like he didn’t care about her life since they were having sex every night while they were together and he could have potentially killed her.

Charlie found out about his HIV status while the two were together. Olson has since gotten tested for the virus, and tweeted on Monday that the whole experience had been extremely “stressful.”
