“I don’t want to be a curvy babe,” Lindy, who also unapologetically calls herself fat, told Cosmo about her decision to embrace the word fat as well. “I wanted to create a fat character that you fall in love with and can’t help but root for.”

The SNL star began working on the late night hit in 2012. She has two Emmy nominations because of her work on the show. Shrill is her first major role outside of the sketch comedy show.
