Casey Davidson is keeping her father’s memory alive today, on the 24th anniversary of 9/11 terror attacks.
The younger sister of Pete Davidson reposted a heartfelt 2022 message to her Instagram Story on Thursday, September 11 honoring their late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, an FDNY firefighter who died responding to the World Trade Center attacks.
“We miss you, we celebrate you and we remember you every day. Proud to be your caseygirl,” she wrote in the post.
Scott was only 33 when he was killed while serving with Ladder Company 118. The husband and father of two also worked as a substitute teacher and coach in Staten Island.

The Saturday Night Live alum, 31, has been open about how losing his father at age 7 shaped his comedy and acting career, including his semi-autobiographical film The King of Staten Island.
“There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t think of u. Ur my hero. Can’t wait to see u again someday,” Davidson once wrote in a tribute, per Time.
Weeks before the somber anniversary, Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt made their red carpet debut amid news they’re expecting their first child. “I mean, it’s the most exciting thing ever,” Davidson said of becoming a father. “I just can’t wait for it.”
