Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s Romance Was a Publicity Stunt for ‘The Naked Gun’: Report

Just another case of reel love? According to a new report, Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson were never romantically involved, despite subtly playing into reports claiming otherwise.

On Friday, August 29, TMZ published a story stating that the narrative that The Naked Gun costars were dating was an idea “cooked up by their PR teams and Paramount.”

The outlet also claimed Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, “didn’t see each other” again after filming wrapped in June 2024 until July 2025 — when they made their rounds promoting the action comedy film.

If that’s true, the pair certainly proved to be incredible actors: As Star previously reported, Neeson joked in July that an intimacy coordinator left the pair to film a steamy scene because it was “too hot.”

That same month, the Baywatch alum played coy, telling Entertainment Weekly: “I think I have a friend forever in Liam, and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he’s a good guy.”

Following TMZ’s story, People reported that Neeson and Anderson are the real deal, with one source insisting that “everything between them has been genuine.”

The Taken star was previously married to wife Natasha Richardson. They tied the knot in 1994 and remained together until she tragically passed away following a skiing accident in 2009. They share sons Micheál Richardson, 30, and Daniel Neeson, 28.

Anderson shares two sons — Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27 — with ex-husband Tommy Lee.
