Meghan Markle is raising eyebrows again — this time over a lavish new Harper’s Bazaar profile that critics say is her most over-the-top moment yet.
In the cover story, the Suits alum, 44, is introduced, in a very royal way as “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” by a house manager, despite being the only other person in the room during a second meeting with the outlet’s reporter.
During the interview, Meghan gets gushy over Prince Harry, 41, calling him someone who “loves me so boldly, fully,” before adding, “no one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back.” (The outlet also reported that she dramatically put her hand over her heart when discussing her husband, whom she married in 2018.)
Markle also explained that the couple’s children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, inspire her to “be brave” in work and in motherhood.
The revealing sitdown was accompanied by a photoshoot of a seemingly bare-faced Markle against a bare backdrop while she stared intently into the photographer’s lens.

But the minimalist, high-fashion vibe was completely lost on some Twitter users.
One accused her of having “soulless” eyes and “regurgitating” recycled talking points. Another mocked the photos as “so awful,” while a third claimed she was “cosplaying Diana.”
As Star recently reported, the high-profile feature is all part of the former actress’s grand plan of making a comeback in Hollywood.
“It’s just the start, she sees herself going all the way to the top,” says an insider. “She never got to go as far as she’d hoped with her acting career, so this is a much longed-for second shot.”
