Meghan Markle Wore a $1,250 Dress by an Australian Designer During Trip With Prince Harry

Flying commercial, Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, landed in Melbourne, Australia, April 14, their first visit since their royal tour in 2018. Their weeklong stay included both quasi-royal appearances and business opportunities for the pair, who stepped down from official duties in 2020. Along with stops at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where Meghan, 44, in a $1,250 dress by local designer Karen Gee, and Harry, 41, met with sick kids, and the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum, where they mingled with vets and their families, the pair also pursued money-making opportunities.
Throughout the trip, for instance, former Suits star Meghan shared shopping info for her outfits — including the $1,000 St. Agni suede Utility Cocoon Bomber jacket she wore to the arts museum — via OneOff, an AI-powered shopping website she’s invested in, according to Daily Mail. In a press release, per the outlet, OneOff said the duchess “cares about fashion and was motivated to invest not only to expand her portfolio, but to help uplift the fashion designers she’s a fan of.”
The As Ever tea and jam purveyor, whose lifestyle show With Love, Meghan was not renewed for a third season, also made a guest appearance on MasterChef Australia. She finished the week by hosting a paid wellness retreat, where for $3,199 guests got a photo op with the duchess!
