The Duchess of Sussex, 44 — whose As Ever lifestyle brand recently cut ties with Netflix — has been guaranteed a $1 million appearance fee for the upcoming “Girl’s Weekend” retreat hosted with the Her Best Life podcast in Australia, sources claimed to celebrity journalist Rob Shuter.
In a Thursday, March 12, post on Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, a source claimed, “Meghan is being paid extremely well for this. Her fee is around a million dollars, and the trip itself is completely taken care of.”
Earlier this week, it was announced that Prince Harry’s wife would join the event, which will be held from April 17 to April 19 at the InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach.

People reported that Meghan and Harry, 41, will also be taking part in “a number of private, business, and philanthropic engagements” during their time there, which will not include children Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
As for the “Girl’s Weekend” retreat, a source told Shuter, “It’s a full VIP operation. They’re rolling out the red carpet for her.”
“Everything is covered,” the source claimed. “First-class flights, a luxury hotel suite, security, stylists, hair and makeup, her assistant — the whole entourage of about four people.”
“Events like this are incredibly profitable,” the source noted, adding that the mother of two “can command huge speaking fees.”

It’s been reported that the retreat will include “meaningful speakers” and “a gala dinner featuring in-person conversation with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.”
The three-day event will host roughly 300 guests at the InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach hotel.
Tickets come in two packages. The VIP Experience costs $3,199 per person and includes seating at a table in the front two rows for the gala dinner with Meghan, a group table photo with Meghan, an exclusive VIP goodie bag, a premium ocean view hotel room and all weekend inclusions.
A limited number of early bird tickets will also be available before general release.
