Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children are growing up fast, and a source tells Star that Meghan’s quietly preparing them for a life in the spotlight.
“The frenzy of interest in the kids is in another stratosphere,” the source says. “It’s more than Meghan and Harry could ever generate, and the exciting thing is that both kids are absolutely gorgeous and so animated and outgoing.”
While the source says that Meghan, 44, “would never suggest throwing them into Hollywood and letting other people take control,” she does see the “benefit” of giving Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, “a platform.”
“She sees what these kid influencers are doing and the worldwide impact they have,” the source continues. “Archie and Lili could have such a huge reach. They could be championing all the same causes that she and Harry believe in, and their impact would just be on a younger generation.”

Plus, the source adds that if there were “products attached at some point that would obviously be very lucrative,” and there’s “no doubt that’s a big motivator.”
However, the source explains that it’s “bigger than that.”
“She wants to have an impact,” the source tells Star. “She looks at kids like Robert and Bindi Irwin, who have had this audience and fame since they were very young but it’s been directed towards animal conservation, so it’s been harnessed in a very intentional way.”
Meghan sees that as being “the blueprint for what she wants for her kids,” according to the source. “They’ll have their own causes and interests but she wants them to follow a similar path.”
As Star previously reported, Meghan and Harry, 41, want to rebrand their foundation in an effort to involve Archie and Lilibet more. The couple recently changed the name of their charity, The Archewell Foundation, to Archewell Philanthropies, and a statement on their website said that the couple wanted to “expand upon their global philanthropic endeavors as a family.”
