Jelly Roll Describes Cheating on Wife Bunnie Xo as ‘One of the Worst Moments’ of His ‘Adulthood’

Jelly Roll regrets being unfaithful to his wife, Bunnie Xo.

The country star, 40, (real name: Jason DeFord) appeared on the Tuesday, October 21, episode of the Human School podcast and recalled the painful time in his life when he cheated on the 45-year-old Dumb Blonde podcast host, (real name: Alisa DeFord) whom he tied the knot with in 2016.

“I don’t talk about this publicly at all, but one of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife because it was the first time that I was like, I really can’t get this right at all,” he admitted. “Like, I know I’m in love with this woman. You know what I mean? It just really, really, really blew me back.”

However, the “Need a Favor” hitmaker noted he “did a lot of work to repair that relationship.”

“The repair has been special, man, and we’re stronger than we could have ever been,” Jelly shared.

“I wish our story would have went in the way that it never had an affair, and I’m in no way glad it happened, but man, I’m proud of who we are today,” he added. “You know what I mean? I truly am.”

The Grammy-nominated artist also confessed he “was hanging around a bunch of people that were cheating on their wives” at that time in his life, but has since seemingly changed who he surrounds himself with.

“I want men to watch this and maybe have a moment where we think as men, who are we hanging out with and what are we talking about?” he explained. “When we’re calling our homie, are we talking about the hot secretary at work? Or are we calling our homie, talking about how we’re trying to surprise our family with a trip Saturday?”
