Harry Styles’ relationship with his former One Direction bandmates has reached rock bottom, reveals a source, amid whispers that the “Aperture” singer, 32, released his new song timed to compete with Louis Tomlinson.
“Dropping music right when Louis is putting out his new album is so unnecessarily competitive,” the source tells Star. “Either that or he’s so oblivious to what Louis is doing that he didn’t even notice.”
They certainly seem to be keeping tabs on him.
Zayn Malik appeared to throw shade at Styles, 32, after fans slammed the sky-high ticket prices for his upcoming Together, Together tour.
“Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high,” the “Pillowtalk” singer, 33, told the crowd at his Las Vegas show in January. “Just saying.”
“Zayn’s little dig on stage about ticket prices didn’t come out of nowhere,” hints the source. “That boys have all seen the backlash from fans calling him greedy and say it’s a sign of how far removed he’s become from the down-to-earth Harry they used to know.”

The drama has led to a major falling out among the boy band’s remaining members, as Starpreviously reported.
“Out of all the boys, Harry has had the most success so if you ask him, he’d say this all comes down to them being jealous,” says the source.
That’s not how Malik, Tomlinson, 34, or Niall Horan, 32, see it, though.
“They say if Harry had stayed grounded and actually cared even a little bit what the rest of them were doing or feeling, they’d celebrate his success,” Star’s source notes. “But to them, he’s nothing but a narcissist who’s become totally obsessed with proving that he’s the biggest star out of them all.”
They’re not afraid to call Styles out on it either, adds the source. “In their eyes, all this success has gone to his head.”
