Ellen Pompeo Wants To Play Matchmaker For Angelina Jolie — And Her Six Kids Are Encouraging It
Does Dr. Grey know how to restart a heart? Sources tell Star that Ellen Pompeo (a.k.a., Dr. Meredith Grey), has been itching to help her friend Angelina Jolie find love again.
The 55-year-old, wed to Chris Ivery since 2007, became close to the Oscar winner, 49, through their kids. “She thinks Angie deserves a bit of fun,” says an insider. “Ellen knows a lot of nice guys, older and younger, who work in front of the camera and behind the scenes and she’s going through her contact list.”
Largely single since her acrimonious split from husband Brad Pitt, Angelina has mostly given up on dating. “She has to be pushed into it,” says the source, sharing that her six kids are adding their encouragement. “They genuinely want to see their mom with someone who will make her happy.”
