‘DWTS’ Fan Favorite Reveals Why Famous Sibling Has Been MIA

Dancing With the Stars contestant Dylan Efron knows his famous brother Zac Efron is supporting him from afar.

When the 33-year-old Traitors alum was asked after the Tuesday, October 21, live show why his sibling hasn’t been in the ballroom, he told Extra, “Hey, he’s doing his thing.”

The reporter pushed back, saying that the High School Musical star, 38, has been “on yachts” and “hanging out with people” — and asked: “Can’t he support you?”

Dylan responded, “He is supporting me every day.”

Dancing With the Stars fans were hopeful they would catch a glimpse of the 17 Again actor on the sidelines when Dylan made it to the “Dedication Night” performance round.

Instead, he and his partner, Daniella Karagach, dedicated their performance to Dylan’s 5-year-old sister, Olivia. It also had a nod to big brother Zac since Dylan and his pro dance partner performed the contemporary routine to “Rewrite the Stars” from The Greatest Showman, which starred Zac and Zendaya.

“I’m dedicating this dance to my little sister, Olivia. I wasn’t expecting to be a big brother … but immediately, I was inseparable from her,” Dylan said in rehearsal footage.

“Zac’s always taken care of me, and he did things that were so selfless,” he added. “I wanna be that to Olivia, I wanna be the best role model I can.”

Dylan is still going strong in the competition as “Halloween Night” approaches. Thus far, celebrities Baron Davis, Corey Feldman, Lauren Jauregui, Hilaria Baldwin and Scott Hoying have been eliminated.
