Chris Martin is covering his bases after he seemingly exposed an alleged affair during a Wednesday, July 16, Coldplay concert in Massachusetts.
The shocking moment went viral on TikTok after the kiss-cam turned toward a cozy couple engaged in light PDA. They were later revealed to be married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his chief of Human Resources, Kristin Cabot, who is also allegedly married to another person.
As soon as they realized that they were on the jumbotron, the pair jolted apart. Byron ducked entirely out of the shot while Cabot turned away so her face wasn’t visible to the camera.
A perplexed Martin, 48, joked from the stage, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Later that night, another couple was shown on the jumbotron – but the singer playfully made sure that they hadn’t made the same mistake twice, per Page Six.
“Okay, now listen, are you two a couple? Are you two a legitimate couple?” he asked, sparking laughter in the audience.
The comical kiss-cam moment between Byron and Cabot has circulated on the Internet and inspired countless internet memes and teasing comments since Wednesday.
One X user wrote, “Man ALL YOU HAD TO DO was no-sell it. If you hadn’t gone down like you’d been shot, nobody would’ve ever known. What, you think your spouses are sat at home watching Coldplay jumbotron footage??? You’ve absolutely played yourselves.”
“Taking the side chick to a Coldplay concert and getting exposed for it by the band itself and it going viral is so funny sorry,” another person chimed in.
A third social media user quipped, “Whoever the cameraman is needs a raise.”

As for the woman who originally posted the video on TikTok, she has little to no regrets about her decision to share it.
“I had no idea who the couple was. Just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it,” Grace Springer, 28, explained in an interview with The Sun. “A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games…win stupid prizes.”
She also revealed she’s been “overwhelmed” by the unexpected response to the video, as it’s jumped from only a few thousands views to nearly 50 million in two days.
“I hope their partners can heal from this and get a second chance at the happiness they deserve with their future still in front of them,” she added. “I hope, for them, my video was a blessing in disguise.”
