Candace Owens has never been one to hold back when it comes to criticizing Erika Kirk, and now the podcast host has slammed her once again.

Owens, 36, said that the public should “continue to be outraged” over Kirk, 37, cancelling her appearance at a recent TurningPoint USA event held at the University of Georgia on Tuesday, April 14.

“To recap, Erika Kirk flew into Athens, Georgia, from Palm Beach on Tuesday after a weekend bridal shower at Mar A Lago. She flew in aboard a massive, apartment-sized jet owned by Vegas billionaires,” Owens wrote via X on Friday, April 17.

The polarizing political commentator claimed that Kirk deboarded a plane at a terminal that had previously been secured by the Secret Service. She added that there was “both a military and police presence waiting at that terminal to escort” Vice President JD Vance, who was also scheduled to appear at the event.

Owens also alleged Kirk decided to cancel once she learned of the crowd size because she “no longer wanted to do the event” and “instructed her PR team to make up a demented lie about imminent threats against her travel safety.”

Vance, 41, reportedly scolded the crowd and “about these invisible threats,” according to Owens, and suggested “they were the public’s fault for having criticized her.”

“I was so looking forward to tonight’s event at the @universityofga with our Vice President @JDVance, but after all our family has been through, I take my security team’s recommendations extremely seriously,” Kirk wrote via X just moments before the event was scheduled to start. “Thank you to our amazing Georgia chapter for your support. God bless you all!”

As Star previously reported, a Secret Service source told CBS News that there were no “credible threats” relating to the venue and the location was considered secure.

The source also explained to the outlet that Kirk may have received concerning messages on social media, “those were not part of any identified or actionable threat stream monitored by federal authorities.”

However, Owens wasn’t buying that Kirk canceled due to alleged security threats.

“This is exhausting,” she wrote via X shortly after Kirk announced her cancellation. “You pulled out because of bad ticket sales.”
