Bunnie Xo Teases Breaking Her Silence on Podcast Following Jelly Roll Divorce News
Bunnie Xo is hinting that her silence may not last much longer since word got out that Jelly Roll filed for divorce after nearly a decade of marriage.
The podcast host, 46, stirred up speculation about a possible response when she teased a fresh episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast in a TikTok clip posted on Wednesday, June 17.
In the video, Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, lip-synced to Jelly Roll’s track “No Limit Freestyle” during a dinner out with friends.
She mouthed along to lyrics that name-check her, including, “My girl super bad / She look like a human Barbie / I’ve been known to set it off / But my [Expletive] bad like Cardi.”
Bunnie then delivered the song’s closing line, “Have you ever been [Expletive],” just before the clip cut off.
She captioned the post, “Podcast coming … 🤏🏼” and tacked on the hashtag “#jellyandbunnie.”
Jelly Roll, born Jason DeFord, filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court records NBC News obtained on Tuesday, June 16. The filing lists May 9 as the date the couple split.
Once the shocking filing became public, a source close to the singer told People the two had “always had a complicated dynamic.”
“When they first got together, they were both in a very different place in their lives,” the source said. “There was a lot of chaos, ups and downs, and they built a life together through all of that.”
Jelly Roll has “changed a lot” in recent years, a stretch that has seen his career take off and his health transform after he shed nearly 300 pounds, the source told People.
