Brooke Hogan Shuts Down Rumors of Affair With HGTV Costar Scott McGillivray: ‘It’s Just Mean and Hateful’
Brooke Hogan is addressing rumors that she’s gotten a little too close to Scott McGillivray, her costar on HGTV’s Rock the Block.
Hogan, 37, has been married to NHL player Steven Oleksy since 2022, but fans have been raising eyebrows about her chemistry with McGillivray, 48, in her recent Instagram posts.
“People looooove to speculate. There’s been a lot of people commenting on posts of me and Scott suggesting we have a ‘thing’ going on,” she wrote on Wednesday, April 28. “And honestly, it’s just mean and hateful. (But sorry we’re so funny and adorable on camera😌).”
She added, “So for those people – I’ll just leave you with these pictures of Scott and my husband. If you’re worried about anyone, worry about my hockey player husband stealing his sweet Canadian heart.”
The caption came with a series of photos of McGillivray, who has been married to Sabrina McGillivray since 2008, cutting up some food and feeding it to Olesky. In another snap, they pose with Hogan and Olesky’s twins, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, whom they welcomed in January 2025.
The outlet notes that Hogan and McGillivray are currently teammates on season 7 of Rock the Block, which premiered on April 13.
This season sees celebrities pairing up with known HGTV designers as they compete to renovate identical homes in Las Vegas on a $275,000 budget.
