Amy Schumer and estranged husband Chris Fischer are still living together despite the fact that the Trainwreck actress confirmed they were ending their marriage last week.
“She expects that they’ll co-parent full-time together and that he’ll see Gene almost as much as he does now — if not more,” a source told Page Six on Monday, December 15, referring to the former couple’s 6-year-old son. “They are still largely under the same roof, for the kid’s sake.”
“She wants them to continue to be very much united when it comes to raising their son,” the source added, noting that Schumer, 44, wanted Fischer 45, “to stick around” for their son’s sake.
“If she contemplates another comedy tour at any point in the future, she wants Chris to be the one looking after Gene and ideally be willing to travel with her,” the source told the outlet. “She just never wants to be romantically involved with him again.”
“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she wrote alongside a photo of the two of them sitting next to one another on the subway. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
Schumer also addressed the rumors that she was separating from Fischer due to her recent weight loss by writing, “blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag a basketball player and not because he’s a hot James beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail.”
