Amy Schumer Jokes About Getting New Years Eve Kiss After Split From Husband Chris Fischer

Amy Schumer is jokingly wondering if someone in her life will fulfill a New Year’s Eve tradition.

On Wednesday, December 31, the comedian, 44, posted a snap of her making a silly face on her Instagram Story, writing,”Who’s kissing this at midnight?” In the photo, Schumer is wearing a zip-up hoodie and sweats, wears her hair in a messy bun, and is holding a plate of spaghetti.

This New Year’s Eve marks the first one since separating from her husband of seven years, Chris Fischer, with whom she shares son Gene, 6.

As Star previously reported, the Trainwreck star confirmed she and Fischer, 45, were no longer together on Friday, December 12, via Instagram, after ongoing speculation.

“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she wrote in a since-deleted post. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”

Schumer also injected some humor into the post, noting the divorce is not happening because her weight loss transformation made her think she could “bag” a basketball player, or because Fischer is a “hot” award-winning chef“who can still pull some hot tail.”

“Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever,” she concluded the post.
