Amy Schumer has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Chris Fischer.
The Train Wreck star, 44, filed to end the couple’s marriage after more than seven years together on Tuesday, January 6, in New York County Supreme Court, according to court documents obtained by People. Schumer and Fischer, 45, were married in February 2018 and share one child, a son named Gene.
News of the filing comes weeks after Schumer publicly confirmed the split last month.

“Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” the Kinda Pregnant actress wrote at the time. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
She added that their split was “amicable,” something that a source also confirmed with the publication.
“It’s a cohesive split,” the source told People. “They’ve just been finalizing a few things.”

In the weeks before the filing, Schumer had addressed speculation about her marriage and she initially downplayed concerns. However, she eventually confirmed the separation.
Since then, Schumer has continued to share personal updates with fans on social media, including posts focusing on self-care and moving forward in the new year.
As Star previously reported, the I Feel Pretty star recently shared some snaps of herself as she packed to go on vacation. Schumer modeled several bathing suits, including two bikinis.
