Don’t worry, Nikki Ferrell — Andi Dorfman never liked your boyfriend anyway! The two ladies became friends during Juan Pablo Galavis‘ season of The Bachelor, but left the show with very different feelings about the controversial reality star.
While Andi left the single dad after a disastrous night in the Fantasy Suite, Nikki wound up being his season’s winner, and went on to date the former soccer player for several months. Despite Andi’s clear disdain for JP, though, she’s stuck by her friend, and isn’t even saying “I Told You So!” now that the couple has broken up.
The Texas lawyer took to Instagram Wednesday to wish her BFF and former competitor a happy birthday, and subtly acknowledged the breakup by alluding to Nikki’s strength. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my love@nikki_ferrell,” she wrote. “Words cannot express how much I love you! We were brought together in the strangest of ways but true friendship can never be broken. You are the strongest girl I know. You get put down but you always smile, you always push through. I am so thankful for our friendship and so proud of you for everything you have done and will continue to do. Love you to the moon and back! Cause were the two best friends…..”
Things are much different for these two ladies now than in their Bachelor days — while Nikki’s now single, Andi went on to be the Bachelorette, and is happily engaged to her season’s winner Josh Murray (they’re even buying a house together)!
