Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas are calling it quits after 18 years of marriage. The actress filed for divorce from her husband in Los Angeles on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to court documents, Melanie is seeking spousal support from the 53-year-old, as well as physical custody of their daughter, Stella. On Thursday, she attended an AFI Tribute Ceremony for Jane Fonda solo, but wearing still her wedding ring.
This was Melanie’s fourth marriage — she has a daughter, Dakota Johnson (of Fifty Shades of Grey) from her relationship with Don Johnson — and Antonio’s second.
