It was a good run! CBS announced on Wednesday that its hit series Two and a Half Men will end after the upcoming season. The final season will air on Thursdays at 9 p.m. next fall, but an episode count has not been given just yet.
“Chuck Lorre is creating a season-long event,” CBS president, Nina Tassler, said at the network’s pre-upfront breakfast. “We did very well last year with announcing the final season of How I Met Your Mother here. Chuck is psyched about this; he’s got some great ideas and very big surprises.”
Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher will return for Season 12, however, Chuck declined to comment about whether or not former star, Charlie Sheen, will make an appearance.
Two and a Half Men is the longest-running comedy on broadcast TV.
