It’s no surprise that Juan Pablo Galavis doesn’t exactly have the best relationship with ABC — and he’s taking a stand against the network by refusing to watch this season of The Bachelorette!
The former pro soccer player became one of Hollywood’s Most Hated stars after his season of The Bachelor, and most of that came from his controversy with current Bachelorette Andi Dorfman, who famously left him on the show during the Fantasy Suite round. Still, JP took to his Facebook page to wish Andi good luck as she began her journey on Monday.
“Today I want to wish the BEST to you Andi Dorfman on your JOURNEY as the Bachelorette… I’m GLAD to hear that now you have gone THROUGH the process, some of the things that we TALKED about while we were on The Bachelor which to you seemed NEGATIVE, became your REALITY during 2 months of filming,” he wrote. ”
The reality star is still dating Nikki Ferrell, the woman he gave his final rose to, who is still good friends with Andi. In fact, Juan Pablo even got some face time with the woman who turned him down via video chat. “Thanks for being one of Nikki’s best friends, no one in the world wants BETTER for you than Mi Catira and I know you do for her also,” he mentioned. “You were lucky Nikki was your best friend and I CHOSE her jajaja, cause if not who was gonna HELP give you TIPS for your contract before the show, and explain you VERY well what you were getting into jejeje. It was GREAT Facetiming with you and also seeing you and Nikki smile to each other after a few months APART.”
Of course, he didn’t miss the opportunity to bash ABC, and former Bachelor/Bachelorettes, one last time. “As long as you can put your head on your PILLLOW and be totally at PEACE, knowing that you did the right thing and that you weren’t a PUPPET, like TONS of other people who decided to do this show,” he wrote. ” I WON’T be watching the show, and I don’t want you to FEEL that is because of you, I would just RATHER wait till the END and for you to tell me EXACTLY how your experience was.”
At the end of his long message, the single dad tried to get a joke in…but one that may just add to the public’s distaste of him. “Best wishes and like I said, HOPE you STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF, but if not, It’s OK…” he concluded (During their big fight, Andi told JP to quit telling her ‘It’s okay.’)
