Three years ago, Katy Perry was shooting whipped cream out of her bra in her video for “California Girls.” These days, things are a little different. Although her recent video for “Roar” kept up with the colorful, high-energy of videos past, the newly released “Unconditionally” strays from the singer’s norm.
This time, Katy covers up in much more elegant outfits, singing with emotion in a few different settings. She recently revealed that this video would focus on “beauty and glamour,” and her simplistic, yet made-up looks accomplish that.
The song is the second single off Katy’s album Prism, and is inspired by her current boyfriend, John Mayer. Check out the video:
