Denise Richards was granted temporary custody of her ex Charlie Sheen and his other ex Brooke Mueller’s twin boys in May, and now she’s looking to make the new family arrangement permanent. The actress will attend a custody hearing for the kids in two weeks, during which she reportedly plans to ask the judge for permanent, sole custody.
The boys were removed from Brooke’s home in May, when her drug use was considered an “unsafe environment” for them. Because Denise and Charlie have put their differences aside and are now friendly, she did her former husband a favor by taking in his kids (Charlie himself has been far from the model parent). This gives Denise five children to look after — the family also includes her own two daughters with Charlie, as well as another daughter she later adopted as a single parent.
Being with Denise has so far proven to be a good environment for Brooke’s kids, but we’ll have to see how the judge rules in two weeks. Check out the video for more details on the custody arrangement:
