Zendaya Uses Scene From Her New Movie ‘The Drama’ to Address Tom Holland Wedding Speculation

Zendaya knows how to play the game. Amid speculation that the 29-year-old had secretly married boyfriend of nearly five years, Tom Holland, the Euphoria star stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! March 16 to set the record straight — sorta.

Acknowledging the rumors, the host brought up that fans had created AI wedding photos of the couple, who met on the set of 2017’s Spider-Man:The Homecoming. “Yeah,” replied Zendaya, who was dressed in a flowy floral gown. “And many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh, my god, your wedding photos are so gorgeous,’ and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re not real! They’re AI!’”

The mystery began when the star’s longtime stylist Law Roach declared the nuptials had already happened during a March 1 appearance at the 2026 Actor Awards. Eagle-eyed fans then declared a wedding band was visible on the Challengers star’s ring finger, nestled next to the sizable engagement ring Tom, also 29, had proposed with.

Having fun with the attention to her marital status, the actress claimed she’d brought along “a little something to clear the confusion” to the late-night show. She then aired a wedding-day scene from her upcoming flick, The Drama, with Tom’s head superimposed on costar Robert Pattinson’s. A flummoxed Jimmy responded, “It would almost seem as if someone had crudely pasted Tom’s head over Robert’s head,” to which Zendaya mock-seriously replied: “That was real footage!”
