Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley Team Up in New MCU Miniseries ‘Wonder Man’

The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe is yet another superhero story… and also a sendup of the MCU. Aspiring actor Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is desperate for the lead role in the new Wonder Man franchise, but Hollywood has instigated a strict “no-superpowers” rule, and Simon has some, er, hidden “talents.”

He teams up with another long shot, bumbling has-been Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) to try to get cast. As much a satire as a superhero movie, this Wonder will entertain even non-MCU fans.
