Which Celebs Dumped ‘Mr. Poop’ Derek Blasberg After Humiliating Gwyneth Paltrow Incident (Exclusive)

It appears that a handful of Derek Blasberg’s A-list pals have crapped out on him.

Multiple sources exclusively tell Star that some of the 43-year-old socialite’s relationships have fizzled after he supposedly soiled a room at ex-friend Gwyneth Paltrow’s Hamptons home and fled the scene without scrubbing up.

“The rumors last year about his conduct in the guest quarters of one of Gwyneth’s homes certainly sent a signal to Derek’s many other A-list friends that he crossed a line and embarrassed somebody he was so loyal to for so many years,” says one source.

The drama began after bombshell 2024 reports claimed that Blasberg had an “Ozempic-induced diarrhea” incident at Paltrow’s home and left it for the 53-year-old actress to deal with. When the Oscar winner was asked about the rumor in a Vanity Fair cover story earlier this year, she reacted with what the reporter described as an “existential cringe” but didn’t deny it nor elaborate further.

The source adds that the bowel movement monstrosity left the professional author with “a black mark against him in Hollywood” and that “there’s no getting away from the fact it’s still a hot topic of conversation.”

According to a second insider, “Every social event he goes to, people bring it up, and a lot of his A-list friends have stopped answering his calls.”

Aside from once being a trusted adviser to the Goop founder, Blasberg also runs in the same circles as the Kardashian-Jenner family, Miley Cyrus and many more.

“Derek loved being invited to the small, elite dinner parties with his high-profile friends and that pool is draining,” says the second insider. “Derek is still friends with Katy Perry, Karlie Kloss and a few others, but losing people like Demi Moore has really soured him on Gwyneth.”

The second insider also notes that he’s “most mad” about being on the outs with Hollywood’s most wealthy, including Kris Jenner. “He hates losing his billionaire friends. It’s really what he cares about more than anything.”

According to the second insider, “Derek said the most recent celeb who is treating him ‘weird’ is Kate Hudson. He used to have a [monthly] standing dinner with her, and she’s been pushing him off.”

While it’s believed that Blasberg’s alleged diarrhea dilemma was due to weight-loss injections, Star understands that there’s more to the story.

“To hear Derek talk about the incident, he really downplays it,” says the second insider. “[He] says it wasn’t his s**t, but some dirt he got on the top of the bedding.”

However, the second insider claims that “Derek was the last one to leave the next morning,” adding: “None of his friends are really buying the story, and he looks foolish.”
