If viewers remember anything from the 2000 Grammy Awards — it’s definitely Jennifer Lopez’s plunging, green Versace gown! 14 years later, the singer recreated the look, albeit a much tamer version, for her new music video “I Luh Ya Papi.”
Her outfit contains the same, memorable design as the Versace dress, but in the form of a pantsuit that isn’t cut nearly as low as the previous look. Throughout the video, she also recreates other notable moments from her past, including a scene from the 2001 “I’m Real” video and the cover art from her first album On the 6.
Just hours before the video came out, the 44-year-old alluded to these references by posting Throwback Thursday photos of the original looks on Twitter — and she may even rock them better with age! Check out the video to see for yourself!
