Travis Kelce’s Wild Nights In Sin City Without Taylor Swift

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. In late April, Travis Kelce headed to Sin City with his brother, Jason, to compete in Justin Timberlake’s multiday 2025 8AM Golf Invitational. Photos and videos from the star-studded event show the Kansas City Chiefs tight end having a grand old time both on and off the links. In leaked footage from one epic night out, for example, he can be seen gambling alongside Jason and Justin at a raucous, celeb-filled party at the casino at the famed Wynn Las Vegas hotel. Travis and Jason talked about the wild weekend during their New Heights podcast April 30, with Jason recalling drinking beer all day before hitting the stage for karaoke. “[It was] so much fun,” said Travis, adding, “There’s something about Vegas.”

He faced the music once he came home. According to a source, Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, had given him her blessing, encouraging him to go have some fun with his friends — but she didn’t know just how crazy things were going to get for the NFL star, 35. “She thought it was going to be a low-key brother-bonding weekend with Travis and Jason, because that’s how he presented it,” the source tells Star. The “Karma” singer, also 35, “wasn’t expecting Travis to be hanging out with Justin and gambling.” Now she’s worried her boyfriend of nearly two years has been missing the bachelor life and isn’t ready to settle down. “The first opportunity he had, he totally let loose,” notes the source. “Travis liked to party before he met Taylor, and he still does.”

Bad Influences

The once ever-present couple have been lying low since Super Bowl LIX in early February. (Taylor wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour in December.) In mid-March, they were spotted on a getaway in Big Sky, Mont., and hit the town for some date nights in NYC (where Taylor owns a $50 million penthouse), but the source says they’ve otherwise been nesting. “They’ve been enjoying private time, having lots of movie nights at home, just the two of them. It’s been nice to reconnect out of the spotlight.”

Yet Travis’ recent behavior may suggest that such domesticity may not be for him — yet. “Taylor is concerned,” says the source, “especially with all these temptations around. Women love pro athletes.” (In 2016, 50 women vied for Travis’ affections on the E! reality dating show Catching Kelce.)

It doesn’t help matters that he was partying with Justin, who was arrested for DWI in Long Island last June. “Taylor isn’t about to place curfews on Travis when they’re not even married yet, but she has her reservations about the type of people he’s surrounding himself with. Hanging out with Justin so soon after his DWI scandal is not the smartest move.”

Good Intentions

Others are saying it was a harmless outing, and that Travis was just blowing off steam after his dramatic Super Bowl loss. “He needed to get rid of some pent-up frustration,” the source says, adding that he “wants to have some fun” before training camp begins in July.

Indeed, the Ohio native has been open about his desire to start a family. During a March episode of New Heights, he joked with Jason, a dad of four, about breeding star athletes, saying, “I can’t wait till I f**king make one.” And he gushed about Taylor in an interview with Steven A. Smith, telling him the pair bring out the “best versions” of each other, and that he appreciates her support. “I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field.”

And people close to Travis insist he’s just sowing his wild oats before he inevitably pops the question. “He wants what his brother has, a wife and kids,” says the source. “He’s not doing anything to be ashamed of — if anything, he’s getting in some good practice for his bachelor party!”
