TikTok Can’t Stop Talking About This High-Protein Greek Yogurt Pizza

A surprising new food trend is bubbling up on TikTok — and it involves one of the internet’s favorite comfort foods getting an unexpected protein-packed twist.

Over the weekend, creators across the platform began posting about Yough, a frozen pizza brand that’s quickly gaining traction online thanks to one unusual ingredient: Greek yogurt dough. The pizza has been drawing attention for delivering roughly 40–50 grams of protein per pie, a number that stunned many fitness and health influencers reviewing it on camera.

“I must be crazy going to Target on a Sunday, but I went to find these viral frozen pizzas,” TikTok user Ali_inthe_aisles said in one clip documenting the hunt for the product after seeing it trend across the platform.

Health-focused creators quickly began testing the pizza themselves, many reacting to its nutrition profile compared to traditional frozen pizzas.

Creator Jake the Low Cal Guy told viewers, “How is this pizza even a real thing?! This entire pizza gets you 40 grams of protein for only 660 calories and is made out of Greek yogurt.”

The brand behind the product says the concept came from rethinking frozen comfort foods using simple, recognizable ingredients.

“Greek yogurt has been around for thousands of years,” Yough co-founder and CEO Mike Rolland said in a statement. “We didn’t invent something new — we just realized it could transform frozen food.”

Instead of the long ingredient lists common in many frozen pizzas, the company says its crust relies on just a few components — Greek yogurt, wheat flour, yeast and salt — creating a dough designed to deliver both higher protein and a more homemade texture.

Yough currently offers its pizza in three varieties: mozzarella cheese, uncured pepperoni and farmer’s vegetable, and early TikTok posts suggest curious shoppers are eager to see if the viral product actually lives up to the hype.
