‘The Testaments’ Shifts Focus to Gilead’s Next Generation in ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Sequel

This chilling, provocative sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale follows a new generation of young women in Gilead as they grapple with the bleak future that awaits them. At Aunt Lydia’s elite preparatory school for future (subservient) wives, teens Agnes (Chase Infiniti) and new girl Daisy (Lucy Halliday) become fast friends.

But Daisy may actually be an infiltrator looking for recruits in order to hatch a plot of rebellion. Even more timely than its predecessor, the girls’ fight for freedom makes for a galvanizing watch.
