Taylor Swift Didn’t Pay Off Another Bride For Her Desired Wedding Venue and Date: ‘Not Who She Is’

Taylor Swift is no bridezilla!

Rob Shuter debunked the recent reports that the “So High School” singer, 35, paid off another woman to secure her ideal wedding date at her chosen Rhode Island venue on his Naughty But Nice Substack on Tuesday, December 9.

“Taylor would never, ever steal someone else’s wedding date. That’s just not who she is,” one insider told Shuter of the billionaire, who got engaged to Travis Kelce, 36, in August.

“She respects the rules. The idea she’d swoop in and push someone aside? Completely false,” added another, while a third noted that the superstar “doesn’t need to take someone else’s spotlight to shine.”

So despite reports that the billionaire was hoping to tie the knot at Ocean House near her New England home on June 13, it’s “not happening,” another person with inside knowledge of the situation told Shuter.

That venue was just a “red herring,” he added, because Swift would never let such an important detail leak so early.

The only major hint the Life of a Showgirl singer has given out so far is that it will be a big wedding. “I’m so excited about it,” she told Graham Norton in October, joking that she planned to invite “anyone I ever talked to.”
