Sydney Sweeney and Julianne Moore Shine in Dark, Twisty Thriller ‘Echo Valley’
In Echo Valley, Claire (Sydney Sweeney) shows up one night at the home of her mom Kate (Julianne Moore), dripping in her boyfriend’s blood. Claire confesses she hit him with a rock during a fight. Kate wonders how far she should go to cover up her drug-addict daughter’s latest mistake before springing into action and burying the evidence.
But Kate doesn’t have the body-dumping skills of say, Tony Soprano. The corpse is soon discovered and cops and a local thug (Domhnall Gleeson) start to question what really happened. Sweeney and Moore’s performances make this thriller, which had a brief run in theaters, riveting.
