Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell Spark Buzz Again After Celebrating His Sister’s Wedding Together

Things have changed since Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell titillated fans with their flirty behavior while promoting Anyone but You. For starters, Sydney is reportedly single after breaking off her engagement to Jonathan Davino; and secondly, the 27-year-old and her costar, 36, were definitely not promoting a rom-com when they attended Glen’s sister Leslie’s recent wedding in Texas, hanging out at Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex in Dallas. “Sydney and Glen saw a lot of each other during the weekend celebration,” a source tells Star, “though they’ve been quick to deny they were each other’s date.”

Glen’s mom, Cyndy, even went so far as to publicly deny the relationship. “They’re definitely not together,” she told a news outlet, insisting the two are just “really close friends.” Still, says the insider, the pair, who grew close while filming the pretend-couple-to-true-lovers flick outside of Sydney, Australia, have palpable chemistry. “There’s no denying they have strong feelings for each other,” adds the insider. “Sydney’s gotten close to Glen’s family, and they love her.” (Indeed, Leslie posted a smiling shot with the Euphoria star at the wedding.)

Perhaps that’s why Glen’s mom demurred when asked if he and his costar might become more than friends one day. “That is none of my business,” she said, before sharing her dream for her son. “I just want somebody that loves him unconditionally and he loves unconditionally, and they take care of each other and live happily ever after.” Why not Sydney? Says the source, “It’s so obvious they’re right for each other!”
