Steve Zahn and Audrey Zahn Bring Their Father-Daughter Chemistry to ‘She Dances’

Sixteen-year-old Claire (Audrey Zahn) is forced to reconcile with her estranged father (played by Steve Zahn, her real-life dad) when she needs someone to chaperone her and her duet partner (Mackenzie Ziegler) to an out-of-town dance competition.

Despite some comic mishaps (getting lost, screwed-up hotel reservations), the trip (predictably) helps thaw their frosty relationship. But Audrey’s acting (and dancing) chops and the dad-daughter chemistry give She Dances a movingly dramatic kick.
