Sparks Fly Between Laura Vandervoort and Stephen Huszar in Hallmark’s ‘Melt My Heart This Christmas’
Gotta give it to Hallmark — there’s no profession too obscure not to feature in one of its Christmas movies! In this case, it’s a glassblower, Holly (Laura Vandervoort), who hopes to showcase her creations at an art fair, but gets harshly rejected by its director, Jack (Stephen Huszar).
Our heroine backdoors her way in by agreeing to man the booth of a master artisan, Bianca, then secretly displays her own works in Bianca’s booth. She and Jack begin to establish a rapport but Holly may have ruined both her chances at love — and a career break — when her plot is revealed. Predictable but sweet, this is the perfect way to open Christmas movie season.
