Sophie Turner had to get a little too close for comfort with her former Game of Thrones costar, Kit Harington, in their latest collaboration.
During her August 14 appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Turner, 29, dished on reuniting with Harington, 39, in The Dreadful, a gothic horror film in which the pair star as lovers.
Turner, who also serves as a producer on the movie, admitted Harington was “the first person” she thought of when casting the role of Jago opposite her character Anne.
Recalling she sent the Eternals actor the script, she was surprised by his initial reaction, explaining Harington responded, “Yeah, I’d love to but this is going to be really f**king weird, Soph.”

“I was like, what is he talking about? Then I was reading it, and I’m like, kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex scene,” she explained. “And I’m like, oh shoot, that’s my brother.”
The actors — who portrayed siblings Jon Snow and Sansa Stark for eight seasons on Game of Thrones — believed the script was worth enduring the awkwardness.
However, Turner explained, “We get on set and it’s the first kissing scene — and we are both retching.”
“Like, really, it is vile,” she added. “It was the worst.”

“Another really bad moment in my career,” she quipped, confirming it was worse than filming with real cockroaches on her latest project Trust.
In Trust, which hits theaters August 22, Turner plays a Hollywood actress who, following a scandal, seeks reprieve at a cabin where things go awry. According to the actress, filming the psychological thriller was “super cathartic” because she was going through her own “media hell” while shooting.
“I wanted to run away in my real life when that was all happening, but I got to do it in a movie,” Turner, who shares two daughters with ex-husband Joe Jonas, explained. “I got to smash some sh*t up, so that was fun.”
