‘Severance,’ ‘Hacks,’ ‘The Studio,’ ‘The Bear’ and More Face Off at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards
Severance, with 27 nominations faces off against The Penguin (with 24), The White Lotus and The Studio (with 23 each), Hacks (with 14) and The Pitt and The Bear (with 13 each) at this year’s ceremony.
No ageism is evident in the actor noms — frontrunners range from seniors Jean Smart, 73, for Hacks, Kathy Bates, 77, for Matlock, and Harrison Ford, 83, for Shrinking, to 15-year-old Owen Cooper for Adolescence.
Other favorites to take home a trophy include Noah Wyle (The Pitt), Colin Farrell (The Penguin) and Michelle Williams (Dying for Sex). “Clean” comedian Nate Bargatze hosts.
