Schitt’s Creek’s Dan Levy wrote, directed and stars in this series about another crazy family — Nicky (Levy), a closeted pastor and his polar-opposite sister Morgan (Taylor Ortega).
While shopping for a gift for their dying grandmother, Morgan swipes a valuable necklace. But the jewelry store is a front for local mobsters, who kidnap the siblings and blackmail them into criminal activity. Like on Schitt’s Creek, Big Mistakes’ outrageous characters forced into improbable situations make for big comedy.
