The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum, 52, was released on Wednesday, December 10, after serving 33 months at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, a rep for the star confirmed toPeople. Shah was originally sentenced to 78 months (six-and-a-half years) for her role in a telemarketing fraud scheme and reported to prison on February 17, 2023.
While she’s no longer behind bars, where she’s headed after prison is still under wraps.
“Jennifer Shah transferred on December 10, 2025, from the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan to community confinement,” a Bureau of Prisons spokesperson confirmed, noting that could mean home confinement or placement in a halfway house. The BOP doesn’t disclose exact locations for safety and privacy.
Shah’s rep previously spoke out about the sentence reduction, revealing in November that spending the holidays with family is a “gift she doesn’t take for granted.” Shah has done “a lot of reflecting and real growth” during her time away, the rep added.
