Mickey Lee, an unforgettable contender on the most recent season of the CBS reality show Big Brother, is in critical condition, according to a GoFundMe page set up for her recent financial burden.
The Season 27 houseguest, who was eliminated from the competition right before the jury was determined, “suffered a series of cardiac arrests and is now in the ICU in critical but stable condition,” said Kori Smith, the GoFundMe page’s organizer.
The fundraiser — which aims to help the 35-year-old with medical fees not covered by insurance, ICU and specialist care cost, rehab and additional family expenses — was set up on Monday, December 22. As of publication, it has raised nearly $20,000 of its $22,000 goal.

“She has been surrounded by medical professionals and loved ones, but the road ahead will be long and challenging,” the GoFundMe read. “Every donation no matter the size will go directly to Mickey’s care and help ease the burden on her loved ones during this difficult time.”
Described on the GoFundMe campaign as “a vibrant, strategic and unforgettable personality,” Lee became one of the most divisive contestants of this summer’s season of Big Brother.
Before her elimination on day 59, the event curator from Atlanta, Georgia, was said to be controlling the came by her fellow houseguests.

The news was also announced on Lee’s Instagram page, prompting well-wishes from fans and fellow contestants.
“Praying for an easy and smooth recovery,” wrote Jimmy Heagerty, while Adrian Rocha commented: “Wishing you much love and prayers to you and your loved ones.”
